Match report So here we are, the last match this season. We have made some really good progress so time to get it together.
Excellent work from Harrison E saw us collect a run out second ball. Further wickets were shared around with Ryan, Harrison M and Jack all rattling the stumps while Harrison M smashed them down in a fizzing run out.
Our chase didn't get off to the best of starts as Jack was called for a really tight run and came up short and Tom fell trying to manufacture something from a straight one. Harrison cracked the back wall twice for a 6 and 4 and he and Ryan settled things to both retire. Alfie added some needed urgency to the running and didn't face a dot to get us well in front. Harrison M scampered a quick three but was well bowled. The last over started with 7 needed Alfie was rather left stranded to be run out. Ryan came back and went with a very good caught and bowled. Eventually we were left with Harrison E our last man, scores level and one ball to come. While he couldn't get bat on it, Ryan hared home to give an exciting and, on balance, deserved win. A really good, well contested match and a fitting end to the season.
