Match report A very tidy bowling and fielding display from all concerned set this one up well. Harrison picked up the big wicket with his teasing flight and Jack's ability to safely snaffle a catch off the roof. Ryan got into his stride quickly with a wicket first ball (which Harrison took at point) and Tom too saw his pace nip through. Add those to the quick thinking and good work that brought 2 run outs we had kept a lid on things and left a chase of less than 70. Also worthy of a mention was Fin for his work behind the stumps, one particular take off one of Umar's quick ones was outstanding and might have picked up the decision on another night.
While their quick man did cause a couple of hairy moments, with bat in hand Umar and Jack weathered the storm and took the game to the rest of the attack. Extras too mounted and we made it home with no wickets down and half the overs to spare. Well played all.
