Match report The Under 13's continued their good form in a very one-sided win at Old Netley.

After losing the toss and being asked to bowl, P&S ripped through the batting of a young, inexperienced Netley side. After just two overs it became clear the sides were not well matched, so we asked our change bowlers to do the job of bowling the opposition out, which they duly did. Ben and Harrison took two each, with the others being shared around. The hosts only managed 11 runs off the bat.

With such a small total to chase, we flipped the batting order, so Tom and Ben opened. Ben was unlucky to get a ball that pitched and rolled along the ground on a very green wicket, while Tom batted nicely with two good boundaries. Teddy and Harrison saw us home comfortably in just 7 overs, but we played on as a friendly for 15 overs, to allow both teams some practise. Harrison got to his 35 off his last ball following a comical series of overthrows, but deserved it after batting confidently.

Another good win before we go again on Wednesday.
