Match report Rain reduced the match to a 45 over game. Kez won the toss and inserted Ryde, Matt bowled their opener in the first over which set the tone for the Ryde innings as they struggled to build any partnerships, Jake picked up two wickets, one a superb caught and bowled, Jonno & Chris picked up one each and it was left to Kez to finish up the tail with 4 quick wickets as Ryde closed on 96 with extras being top score inc 19 wides. We had a tortoise and hare opening partnership with Jack flaying the bowling to all parts and scored his 36 in only 16 balls whilst Clem hadn't yet got off the mark. Further rain reduced our target to 76 and Matt with 27* and Clem 3* saw us home in with 20 overs left and 23 points to remain on track for promotion. A great win against one of our promotion rivals.
