Match report Andover put the visitors in to bat after a damp morning in north-west Hampshire and the openers didn't find life easy against the new ball. When Clem was out at 63 for 2 (19 overs), the spinners were on. Tom attacked them straight away and when Matt joined the assault, 110 were added in 18 overs, putting P & S firmly in the driving seat. Matt followed Tom back to the pavilion ten runs later and the last seven wickets fell for a paltry 25 runs. The initiative had swung towards the home team and a position of strength thrown away.
Summers started aggressively, but Chris sent both openers back with 32 on the board (8 overs). Matt then dismissed both Blackburn and Roberts (yorked) to reduce Andover to 48 for 4. This pair had scored over 150 between them at Ventnor last week. The home situation decline further to 67 for 7 from 18 overs. At this point, Taylor joined Morton and the two youngsters showed the resolve that was sadly lacking in the earlier batting. They stayed together for 14 overs and gained their side a batting point before Morton was run out by a brilliant throw from Matt B. Keiron knew too much for the last two batsmen and 22 points were in the bag.
