Match report With four players missing this was always going to be a tough game. Despite Rowan Dyer getting an early wicket, Fawley raced to 88-1 in 14 overs. Leg spinner Rob Jacobs continued his fine form with a great spell of 12 overs taking 3-40 and with Toby Bullen taking 3-16 including the Fawley dangerman we managed to restrict them to 188 all out with wicket keeper Ian Rogers claiming 5 victims. Another good start from Ian and skipper Paul Dew had us 50-0 off 9 overs but both got out followed by 3 other quick wickets leaving us needing 90 to win with only 5 wickets left. Arise young guns Matt Shaw and Rob J to initially blunt the Fawley attack and then race away to win by 5 wickets with 4 overs left. A great partnership that belied their young age. This was a great result for a very young team with 7 under the age of 21...the Academy is working well!!
