Match report Burridge batting first put on a competitive total on a wicket which was playing well. Wickets for Josh, Will and Robbie (2) and a run out.

In reply, Will and Ben got us off to a good start before we lost Ben, at which point Muhammed joined Will and they put on a good partnership taking us to 70 before Will retired and Muhammed retired soon after - well batted guys. With 7 overs left and 7 wickets available (retired batsmen cannot return to the crease) we needed 8 runs an over which was achievable on this batting wicket. However, we were too conservative and scored 25 runs off the last 7 overs and still had plenty of wickets left. Plenty of learning points but with several reminders of the required run rate and number of wickets in hand given to the batsmen we were they reluctant to push the run rate to try and win the game. This will come with experience. Some good moments in the field and batting - let's take these into our next games. A good effort boys - well done.
