Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club Lost By 21 runs

Match report Just not enough runs. A bit more confidence when calling and running long singles and clear twos, plus more sensible running (both because too much focus is on batting for ourselves rather than the team!) would have seen us win tonight. But on the the report....
Excellent early bowling from their opening pair saw both Arthur & Muhammad beaten but recovered to be in positive numbers after their 4 overs. Likewise Harrison & Oakley with Oakly finding the ropes once. A couple of early wickets in the Aqib Alex partnership were turned round with some great Aqib pulls. Next up Nerash & Marcus held the line and Charlie & Tristan both cracked 4s in the most lucrative partnership of the evening.
Our bowling couldn't have started better with a double wicket maiden (very nearly a hatrick) for the marauding Alex. While we bowled well, with Marcus & Aqib the most parsimonious, plus Mo catching well, ultimately our lack of runs told and we ended well beaten.
