Match report Hayling won the toss and made an excellent start, their 56 opening partnership taking just 15 overs. Chis began a collapse which saw the visitors decline to 62 for 4 in the next 9 overs. Martin and Westfield then added 58 in 13 overs. Poole, replacing Westfield, helped Martin add another 58 in 10 overs.
It soon became clear that 211 was not going to be enough. Clem and Smithy opened with 83 before Clem was lbw (to the surprise of no-one) in the 15th over. Jack and Smithy added 76 and then Matt B added 53 with Jack to finish the match with 22 overs left. Hayling are still to record a league win this season.
