Match report Another disappointing performance against a competent side underlined the team's inconsistency. Again, only one batsman was in form and Matt, despite playing well will be unhappy with his dismissal. The decline from 139 for 4 to 150 for 9 took only 26 deliveries. No partnership exceeded 41 and the only pair that seemed to have a plan were Jono and Keiron.
Matt B's form continued with the ball as he reduced the visitors to 3 for 2 in his first 10 deliveries, but this was followed by the only major partnership of the match (70) which ended with Buckingham's gentle drive to mid off. Hope existed when Mike bowled McNally at 125 for 5, but there were still 15 overs left to score the 48 runs needed. Will Buckingham saw his team home with 33 balls to spare.
