Match report The league leaders didn't fail to live up to there reputation as the best side in the league. A very strong bowling attack saw us 2 down early on with Jason out to a bizzare stumping and sayeed getting a beauty. Sean Kanavan however counter punched with a few solid boundaries and I finally got a start to consolidate. With Sean gone to the impressive Stammas Rich Collier too attacked the bowling for a good 30 odd before Ollie Kanavan also joined me for another boundary filled partnership. Harlan picked up where he left off and supported me through to the end of the innings as we posted a very pleasing 237. In the face of such a strong attack the spirit and application shown by the young middle order of Collier, Kanavan and Randall was a delight to bat with. Was great to see everyone fight back after a poor day at Bashley.

Bowling was the same old issue really. We dropped what chances we did create and really lacked someone of pace or control to tie the batsman down. Everyone tried gamely but we served up too many four balls to a batting line up as strong as its bowling. Beaten by a better side.
