Match report We lost the toss and the opposition, who scored 338 for 4 the previous match, opted to bat against our ten men which included some inexperienced players. We bowled and fielded energetically and restricted them to 171 all out - a top effort given the circumstances. Top bowling performances from Karthik, Samwise and Bergy. Champagne moment in the field came from a towering catch from Ben Sully to dismiss their danger man who'd just reached his 50.

In reply we struggled against the best bowling attack we are likely to face this season with runs very difficult to come by. Mark (27) and Karthik (32) developed a good partnership mid innings in helping us past the 100 mark. A good effort in the circumstances against a strong side.
