Match report Openers Seth Jackson and Sam Collings-Wells were again superb as P&S maintained their 100% record with a comfortable win against Portsmouth. Playing on a very bouncy astroturf wicket Seth & Sam played themselves in and ran superbly, both retiring within a ball of each other. Ed Hands and Tom Benfield batted sensibly and we ended on 98 - 3 which was pretty good seeing as it was the first time they had played on an astro this year. In reply Portmsouth were always behind the clock thanks mainly to an excellent spell of bowling by Ed Hands, 3 overs for just 4 runs, and despite some big hitting towards the end of their innings Portsmouth never really threatened. The P&S team are really starting to gel and they are well on the way to winning the league. The Hampshire Cup is just around the corner and hopefully this year it will be third time lucky.
