Match report Portsmouth Community batted first and we bowled and fielded well restricting them to 88 runs. Sam, Charlie, Jonty and Ben all bowling well with Jez keeping wicket tightly.

We started batting brightly scoring 35 runs off the first 3 overs with Ollie retiring on 23 not out off 6 balls. However, we then started getting unnecessarily nervous with our batting and took until the end of the tenth over to reach the target total. Other than Ollie's boundaries we scored 24 singles not running once, the rest of our total being made up of extras.

We need to work on clear calling every ball, look to push the ball into space against the side wall for one and then run to turn it into 3 runs. Stronger teams will do this against us.

Well done on the win boys and let's take the learning points into future matches preparing the team for the summer.
