Match report An excellent start from the U16s. They lost the toss and were put into bat. Seth and Tom set off at a cracking pace both retiring quickly. Sayeed and Prash also retired, but Jack was unlucky being run out without facing a ball. With 4 retirees to follow Ben had a swing at a slow ball to be stumped. Seth was then back in retiring a 2nd time four balls later, all 6s. He returned again to reach 49 off 13 balls. However the batting performance had to go Tom who ran himself out on 97.

Bowling and fielding is easy when defending 226. Most economic was Jack (3-0-24-1). Sayeed topped the wickets with a brace and Seth took 3 catches poaching at point. It was a commendable win to start the season with.
