Match report A well deserved win. Put in on a damp track Big Al and Sayeed took us cautiously through a tricky start. At the half way point we were 2 down for about 50. The main imputus of the innings was provided by a partnership of over 80 by Sean and young Ollie Perrin who belied his tender age running well and striking very cleanly - a top knock. Despite a flurry of wickets late on we felt we had a competitive total.
A good tidy start was important and Darryl and Jack provided just that. Their efforts were backed up by all the lads following who despite decent knocks from a couple of their bats saw us having to defend 20 off the last two and 9 of the last. Darryl held his nerve with a run out, Bic Mac held a craking catch in the deep and we ran out deserved winners. Well bowled all and well fielded.
