Match report Despite the unpleasant weather, an excellent start was made to the league season with all the top six contributing to a commanding 251 for 4. Clem and Ian weren't parted until 80 was on the board in the 17th over, but this was eclipsed by a third wicket partnership of 96 from Matt and Alex. Chris's violent cameo dug the knife in.
Depleted Hamble lost wickets at regular intervals with 23 for the 3rd wicket being the highest stand. Gary recorded the best figures but the pace of Toby and Evs contibuted to a good team effort.
Reynolds didn't bat due to a suspected broken nose, received while fielding.
