Match report Not our greatest outing. 62 wides begin to tell the tale.
We nipped out 4 wickets for just 9 runs between them. Unfortunately the other two both scored in the 30's and their efforts allied to our generous donation gave us a challenging total to chase. A great start with the ball from Rob saw his first 2 overs returning 9 - 1 but that was the lst time we were on top.
With the bat we never got going losing wickets all the way. Again Rob was top performer but even he couldn't get back in the hutch. In the end it took a last over that went Wide, Wide, Wide, Wide, Wide, dot, Wide(4), Wide, 1,1 - run out,(24 runs off 3 balls!) to get us up to a total over 100.
We need a serious improvement to avoid our second demotion in 2 years! Sack the manager!!!
