Match report P&S U9s started their season with probably the youngest side we have ever put out. We batted first and all 4 pairs achieved positive scores with Monideep and Finley both hitting several 4s. We posted a score of 275 and despite a spirite effort from the Portsmouth last pair we won by 20 runs. Lloyd and Oli produced a good tight opening spell, Finley got a clean bowled and Lee bowled well, Tom got two wickets and Oscar one, Monideep and Sundeep bowled very straight at the end. Tom was a revelation as wicket keeper and all the boys were a joy to manage.
