Match report An unlikely win can be summed up in two words. "THE BENFIELDS!!!!!!"
As a result of a woeful bowling display, in which 42 extras were conceded,we were set a demanding 127 to win.
However, a fantatstic century opening partnership with Tom retiring on 53(his first ever 50) and Matt retiring again on 52, left it up to Ali Thorpe to take the glory of the winning runs with a cameo innings of 13 n.o.
Considering Tom took a wicket and that he along with Matt shared three catches the team need to be looking to them as the example to be followed of how to play the game.
Remember not only did we give away 42 runs that also meant bowling seven extra overs. As U.S. only conceded 8 extras more discipline is needed in the field.
